@stunt It has its similarieties (as all MMO's do now) but I've noticed it reminds me of a combo of the good things in WoW, Lineage 2 and Guild wars. I like it.. definately even if my Clan leader on there pushes us pretty hard at times. I've always wondered how GamerDNA knows what I've been playing without telling it...
@Atraxis by entering your AKAs for services like xfire, steam, xbox live, and ps3 we're able to gather your gameplay activity for you ... assuming you're online and using those clients.
Been a while, Aion is pretty dope, game of choice currently. Serious graphics, decent questlines and cutscenes decent game mechanics. Starts off similar to GW where you enter into gameplay in sort of a training zone with goals of ascension. Unit Frames are similar enough to GW as well though not limited to 1 bar of preselected moves, best of all you actually get to jump. Guilds are now Legions and raids are Alliances and each character is separate asside from account warehouse meaning each character is not bound to 1 legion or 1 server for that matter. you pic your faction, Elyos or Asmodian, and on that server you are stuck with that choice however you can have characters on multiple servers in order to play either side. Gathering and professions are a real time and money sink in this game, I don't recommend doing a profession until you are pretty established but grinding your gathering skill seems to be a must. Solid game so far, I'm not a fan of starting fresh and building a new crew, in some cases i do wish characters were bound to a legion but its not that big of a deal, just used to being a headset jockey and raiding 4 nights a week with my WoW set. Also, Stunts loves boys weiners, not really but really.
